TERMS & CONDITIONS

You should carefully read the following Terms and Conditions - your submission of this registration form implies that you have read, accepted and agreed these Terms. This agreement sets forth the terms for you registering with Badminton in the Caribbean (BIC); by enrolling in this event, you agree to be bound by this agreement. You must read and indicate your acceptance during the registration process.

All references to BIC hereon in refers to BADMINTON IN THE CARIBBEAN Please check your REGISTRATION FORM, making sure that the spelling of ALL NAMES match exactly those in the named passengers’ passport. This registration form is your official "Holiday Planner Letter" confirming the details and the pricing for your holiday. Please ensure your holiday information is correct, including, package required, date of birth,full name as it appears on your travel document (check spelling of legal names) and departure dates. Please ensure you have the correct travel documents to enter Barbados i.e. visa’s (if appropriate).

Pre-registration: You must submit a Badminton in the Caribbean registration form, which all guests are required to complete - registration forms must be emailed at the time of deposit.

Travel protection: It is strongly recommended that you have adequate holiday travel insurance; this is your responsibility and not that of BIC.

Responsibility: Badminton in The Caribbean shall not be responsible for a breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on the part of our suppliers, which result in loss, damage, delay, injury or death to any guest. Badminton in The Caribbean shall not be held responsible for any injuries, damages or losses caused to any traveller in conjunction with terrorist activities, social or labour unrest, mechanical or construction difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the control of Badminton in The Caribbean. By accepting tickets and/or embarking upon his/her travel, the traveller voluntarily assumes all risks involved with such travel, whether expected or unexpected. The traveller is hereby warned of such risks, and is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them. We aim to provide your holiday as booked. If, for example, there are not enough people booked on or you do not pay the balance in UK Sterling of the holiday price on time, we may cancel it. We reserve the right to cancel your holiday in any circumstances but if we cancel your holiday, except where this is because you have not paid, you will be refunded. Itineraries and rates quoted and advertised by BIC are correct when provided to us. BIC cannot be held responsible for changes made by the supplier with, or without notice, or your failure to promptly verify and acknowledge this document.

Price: When you make a booking you must pay the deposit of £150.00 or the full package payment in or equivalent to UK Sterling. We reserve the right to increase the price of the package booked until your invoice is paid in full; the last date of payment is 30th June 2015 and is clearly shown on your confirmation receipt. However, we guarantee there will be no increase in price once the balance has been paid in full;. BIC will pay any difference/ increases made by the airline or hotel after full payment received in or equivalent to UK Sterling.

NOTE: THE FINAL BALANCE WILL BE DUE ON THE 30TH JUNE 2015

Cancellations / Changes: Any cancellations by you must be made in writing once the registration form has been completed and your booking accepted. Tickets cannot be changed after flights have been booked and will be subject to full cost cancellation charges implied by the airline. Name changes and alterations to outward departure dates are treated as cancellations. No refunds, will be given if bookings are not cancelled in writing prior to departure date or if you miss your flight due to late arrival. Refunds, when applicable, may take up to six weeks to process and can only be given to the person who first made the booking. Monies will only be refunded to the account from which it was received. We will not cancel your holiday less than 12 weeks before you go, unless this is the result of an event beyond our control. Once you have entered into this contract, you have agreed to conduct yourself in an acceptable manner. If your behaviour is deemed unacceptable/offensive by any member of the staff/management, BIC reserve the right of refusal to the Tournament/Event. In this instance you will not be refunded any monies in relation to tournament fees or tours. If your behaviour is such you are dismissed from any of the tours or are subject to eviction from the hotel due to your behaviour/actions, Badminton in the Caribbean will not refund any monies paid by you.

Payment methods: You can make deposit or full payments at the time of booking by credit or debit card. Visa, PayPal and MasterCard are accepted with an additional cost which will be automatically added to your payment. Overseas payments where currency conversion applies, must include the cost of conversation fees i.e. if you send a payment and at conversion/ receipt the payment amount is less than the package price - you will be invoice for the difference. In this instance, all terms exist until the full UK sterling price has been received.

Payment dates: Payment dates are shown on your confirmation receipt, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply the appropriate cancellation charges if these dates are not adhered to. There will be an administration fee of up to £50.00 to reinstate a booking that has been cancelled due to late payment, plus any additional charges if the new booking is more expensive and only applicable if spaces on the trip are still available.

Flight times: As shown on your confirmation receipt are correct at the time of your booking. However, all air lines reserve the right to amend these times and BIC is not responsible for any changes made by the airline. Please recheck your tickets and accompanying itinerary on receipt for any amendments that may be made to your flight times.

Liability and problems: BIC act as an agent for the airlines named on your invoice and we accept no liability what so ever for any aspects of the travel arrangements and accepts no responsibilities for any delay, loss, personal injury, or death how so ever caused.

Your flight is financially protected by the ATOL scheme.

Passports and Visas and any other documents required to travel are the sole responsibility of each passenger. You should check to make sure your passport is up to date and valid beyond your date of return - if necessary check with the relevant Consulate, Embassy or High Commission of Barbados. If you do not have the correct documentation, you will be prevented from travelling and we shall have no further liability- you will not be refunded.

Ticket issue: Tickets will be posted 3 weeks prior to travel assuming all necessary payments have been made and cleared, where applicable an e-ticket will be issued.

How we use your information- We collect information directly from you when you are asked to provide personal details about yourself, we will use this information to:

  • process your order
  • contact you if necessary
  • arrange services you have requested
  • provide you with information of future events by SIC- COOKIE PROMOTIONS only
  • we take all appropriate steps to protect your personally identifiable information as you transmit your information from your computer to our site and to protect such information for loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We operate strict security standards to prevent any unauthorised access to it.
  • Disclosure - we may disclose your information
  • if you give us permission to do so – this must be submitted in writing
  • where required by law, regulation or legal proceedings
  • where you give us false or inaccurate information and we identify or suspect fraud
  • where we are compelled to do so by law
